HOW TO GET VIETNAM VISA ENTRY DURING COVID19?

Enterprises that invite foreigners to work in Vietnam, including diplomats, investors, business executives, experts, and highly skilled employees must conduct three procedures:

1.      Quarantine options: Enterprises must first send documents inviting experts to Vietnam to the local competent agencies detailing their suggested quarantine options based on the city’s appraised list of paid quarantine hotels.

2.      Application on grant entry into Vietnam: the department will join hands with the Health Department and relevant agencies to submit the list to the city government for approval.

3.      Application on visa entry covid19 approval letter: based on the approval letter to grant entry into Vietnam, the municipal government will then work with the Vietnam Immigration Department on processing immigration procedures.




WHO CAN GRANT THE ENTRY VISA

1.      Investors.

2.      Experts.

3.      Skilled-workers.

4.      Business managers.

5.      Families – relatives, and other persons under agreement with each specific country.

6.      People who enter Vietnam for diplomats or official purposes.

REQUIRED PAPERS FOR INVESTOR

1. From the applicant

  • Passport
  • Certificate of stake holding
  • Certificate of negative test of SARS COVID 2, Vaccination Certificates or Certificates of Recovery from COVID-19
  • And other information:
    • Date to enter Vietnam
    • Date to work in Vietnam
    • Airport to exit abroad:
    • Airport to enter Vietnam:
    • Quarantine location in Ho Chi Minh City
    • Residence after quarantine

2. From the sponsor

  • Enterprise Registration Certificate
  • Investment Registration Certificate

REQUIRED PAPERS FOR MANAGERS:

1. From the applicant

  • Passport
  • Work Permit/ Certification of Exemption from Work Permit
  • Certificate of negative test of SARS COVID 2, Vaccination Certificates or Certificates of Recovery from COVID-19
  • Other information:
    • Date to enter Vietnam
    • Date to work in Vietnam
    • Airport to exit abroad
    • Airport to enter Vietnam
    • Quarantine location in Ho Chi Minh City
    • Residence after quarantine

2. From the sponsor

  • Enterprise Registration Certificate
  • Investment Registration Certificate
  • Company charter for verifying the head or deputy head of enterprise Just in case the information of the investor is not shown in the ERC

In addition, basic precautions one can take to reduce their risk to the coronavirus as advised by the World Health Organization (WHO) are:

 

  • 1.      Wash hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub;
  • 2.      Cover nose and mouth with tissues or inside of elbow when coughing or sneezing;
  • 3.      Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms;
  • 4.      Thoroughly cook meat and eggs; and
  • 5.      Avoid unprotected contact with live wild or farm animals.
